The mission of Sullivan's IP Law Outline & Analysis™ is to provide an additional resource for finding Federal Circuit cases relevant to one's own case or interest, and to allow the reader to compare and contrast the current cases with the Court's earlier cases addressing the same or similar issues. The ultimate goal of Sullivan's IP Law Outline & Analysis™, aside from keeping close track of the developments and changes in patent law, is to detect and monitor patterns and trends in the patent-related issues addressed by the Federal Circuit relative to the facts of the cases. With this knowledge, patent applicants and litigants (as well as judges) will be able to better predict the outcome of their own cases at the PTO and in the federal courts.
